Overview
Adoration Home Health and Hospice is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health SLP to join our team in Pensacola, FL. The Home Health SLP provides expert, patient-centered care in a supportive and fulfilling environment.

Responsibilities

Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services

Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices

Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability

Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions

Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist

Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by the state in which practicing

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations
