Novant Health Sports Medicine in the Triad Region is hiring an Athletic Trainer to join their team in the Winston-Salem area. This role will provide dual support to both Forsyth Technical Community College and clinics in the area.

What You'll Do
Responsible for the prevention of athletic injuries; the maintenance of the health and well-being; and the recuperation and rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery of all players under contract to the professional team or collegiate entity
Work under the supervision and in direct contact with the Novant Health Supervisor of athletic training, with dotted line responsibility to team physicians affiliated with the Team/-College/-University, with the aim of maintaining a healthy team for the duration of the competitive season
Provide skills and services as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to enhance the quality of healthcare for those engaged in physical activity. To provide community education and serve as a link to the community through promotion of wellness.
What We're Looking For
Education :4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.
Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years collegiate or professional experience, recommended but not required, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current AT Licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required prior to first day of employment, required. Current BOC Certification, required. First Aid/CPR Certified, required.
Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
Additional Skills (preferred): Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, BFR, Dry Needling, or similar. Ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
