Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Guidewire Portal Developer

to design, develop, and implement customer-facing digital portals for

Policy

,

Billing

, and

Claims

using the Guidewire Digital EDGE framework, including Jutro and modern UI technologies.

This role is critical to creating seamless omnichannel user experiences and involves close collaboration with business, architecture, backend Guidewire teams, and QA.

Key Responsibilities

Portal Development & Customization

Develop and customize Guidewire Digital Portals such as

CustomerEngage

,

ProducerEngage

, and

VendorEngage

.

Build dynamic UI components using:

Jutro / EDGE framework

React.js or Angular

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

Implement business and integration logic using

Gosu

,

Java

, and REST APIs.

Integrations

Integrate portals with:

PolicyCenter

BillingCenter

External systems & third-party APIs

Develop and consume

RESTful APIs

and

JSON/XML services

.

Architecture & Framework Alignment

Collaborate with solution architects on scalable, maintainable portal architectures.

Customize Guidewire Digital UX templates and themes.

Ensure adherence to

Guidewire best practices

and coding standards.

Quality & Troubleshooting

Debug UI and API performance issues.

Support QA teams during testing, defect resolution, and release cycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into portal functionality.

Coordinate with backend Guidewire developers for PC/BC/CC logic integration.

Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is

:

$90000 to $138059

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
