Objectives of this role

Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities to generate revenue and expand the market.

Developing and executing strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and targets.

Building and maintaining solid relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.

Conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Collaboratingwith internal teams, including marketing, sales, and productdevelopment, to align strategies and achieve business goals.

Negotiating and closing deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.

Monitoring and reporting on business development activities, performance metrics, and key outcomes to senior management.

Exploreand pursue new opportunities for the company’s growth throughnetworking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.

Develop proposals, presentations, and business cases for potential clients and partners.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new growth opportunities.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations for successful client acquisition.

Track and analyse sales data, performance metrics, and market trends to inform business development strategies.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to drive business growth.

Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company’s products and services.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Demonstrableexperience as a business developer, sales executive, or in a similarrole in business development in the Indian business landscape.

Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

Proven experience in B2B sales and strategic partnerships.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.

Relevant certification in Business Development, Sales, or related field.

Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies for lead generation and business development.

Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.

Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
