Landscape Yard Laborer
Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is looking for a landscape yard laborer. This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of field office support functions including, but not limited to, the following: loading, weighing, and ticketing trucks, preparing daily load summaries, managing inventory, accepting payment, basic typing and word processing, filing, answering calls, light bookkeeping, courier duties, customer relations, etc.
Essential duties and responsibilities include operating equipment (loader, scale, etc) safely and efficiently, keeping time and material records, knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications, knowledge of weight requirements and loading restrictions, excellent customer service and sales skills, strict adherence to company policy regarding inventory and payment collection, travel to and from various work locations, and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient business operation.

Education and/or experience: high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Speak and articulate clear verbal communication through various media email, two-way radio, face-to-face, etc.
Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computer skills: knowledge of general computer operation; inventory and order processing systems; knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Certificates, licenses, registrations: valid driver's license required.
Physical demands: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, or hear (listen). The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work environment: while performing the duties of this job, individual is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; dust; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
