Software Engineer-Developer 3
Location: Chantilly, VA, Aurora, CO, or Mesa, AZ Salary Range: $90 - $100/hour
The *** Company is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Experienced) to join the FishTools program within the Ground Mission Management Software (GMM) team. We're seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph after start date
3 years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems (i.e. Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications) and a foundation in computer science and software development
3 years of experience in object-oriented programming
Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub, IBM Rational Team Concert, etc.
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with cloud-based software systems and modern DevSecOps and Agile execution processes
Experience with UX design collaboration across large, multi-faceted scaled systems
Experience in developing consumer-facing web applications
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring software implementations meet functional requirements.
Briefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to peers.
Develop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture.
