What You Will Do as an Assistant Child Care Coordinator
The Assistant Child Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Child Services Coordinator with the design, implementation, and administration of a comprehensive therapeutic program for children of program participants.
Help to assess child and family needs and plan appropriate therapeutic interventions, including family, individual and group counseling, play therapy and educational seminars.
Along with the Program Director and/or the Clinical Supervisor, monitor the program's progress, instituting new programs and interventions as appropriate.
Assist in maintaining the weekly childcare schedule.
Maintain electronic charts and various childcare reports.
Assist in the coordination of services and acts as liaison with other providers such as daycare centers, schools and summer camps.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of child development.
Able to build rapport with substance use population and families.
Compassion, understanding and empathy for those working on their recovery from addiction.
Proficient with MS Office, internet and email systems.
Ability to engage with children and families.
The shift for this position is Sunday - Thursday, 10am-6pm
Pay: $25.00 per hour
