Job Summary
This role combines regulatory compliance and hands-on product development within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will support food labeling compliance while also assisting in the creation of innovative seasoning blends alongside the R&D team.
Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing product labels and documentation to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and international regulations, as well as maintaining accurate records and supporting audits.
This is a hands-on, non-routine role ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual eager to gain real-world experience in both regulatory compliance and food product development. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in bringing new food products from concept to market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating and reviewing product labels and specifications
• Ensure compliance with food regulations and customer requirements
• Support documentation for domestic and international products
• Research regulations and help resolve labeling questions
• Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records and support audits or compliance checks
• Help improve internal processes and compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For
• Basic knowledge of food labeling regulations (FDA, USDA, and international)
• Strong research and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with good organization and time management
• Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field
• Some experience or internship in food labeling or regulatory work preferred
