Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Technical Stack:
GIS & Spatial Technologies (Primary):
ArcGIS Enterprise Suite (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online).
ZIMAS (Zone Information and Map Access System) or similar zoning/planning platforms.
ArcGIS REST Services, Feature Services, Map Services.
Spatial data processing, geodatabases, and layer management.
Coordinate systems, projections, and spatial indexing.
Data & Integration:
GIS data pipelines (ETL, sync, transformation workflows).
Integration with REST APIs and web services.
Data validation frameworks and QA/QC tools.
Experience with spatial + non-spatial data models.
JSON, XML for service communication.
Application & System Understanding:
Web GIS architecture and GIS-enabled application design.
Understanding of frontend-backend integration.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (for coordination and review).
Knowledge of enterprise system integration patterns.
Project & QA/QC Tools:
Project tools: MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet.
QA/QC tools and test management frameworks.
Version control awareness (Git-based workflows).
Documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint).
Compliance, Security & Governance:
Data governance frameworks.
Audit readiness and compliance tracking systems.
Role-based access control (RBAC) concepts.
Knowledge of government / city planning systems (preferred).
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Computer Science / Information Systems (with GIS specialization).
Preferred Certifications:
Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Certification.
GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional).
PMP / PgMP (adds value but not primary).
Agile / Scrum certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP).
