Responsibilities:Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool and surrounding areasPrevent accidents through enforcement of rules and regulationsRecognize and respond quickly to emergenciesPerform water rescues and administer First Aid, CPR, and AED as neededMaintain pool area cleanliness and safetyProvide excellent customer service to all patronsParticipate in regular training and in-service sessionsQualifications:Must be at least 15-16 years old (varies by certification)Current Lifeguard certification from Red Cross or willing to obtainCurrent CPR/AED and First Aid certificationStrong swimming skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain alert and focused during shiftsWeekend and holiday availability preferred
