Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join the Retina Division in Westwood. This position involves delivering exceptional patient care while collaborating with a dynamic clinical team in a high-volume setting. Perform imaging and comprehensive optometric examinations.
Responsibilities
Provide patient education through written and verbal communication, addressing questions about surgical options, lens choices, treatments, medication, etc.
Participate in the identification and recruitment of patients who are eligible for participation in clinical trials
Assist with postoperative care of cataract and glaucoma patients
Write prescriptions for glasses and authorize medication refills
Salary Range: $85,900-128,900
This position may be required to travel to other UCLA Health locations based on operational needs.
