Job Description

This job contributes to Evolution Fresh success by maintaining facilities in a clean and orderly condition. Models and acts in accordance with Evolution Fresh guiding principles.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Cleans facility offices and common areas, including kitchen equipment, break room, coffee stations and facility restrooms. Vacuums carpets, cleans windows, mops, and waxes floors
Monitors and maintains supply levels in restrooms, coffee station and break room
Performs commercial maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry and electrical
Performs periodic cleaning and other sanitation tasks as scheduled
Picks up litter outside perimeter of building and near garbage dumpsters, discards trash and recyclables from offices, restrooms, and lunchroom into proper receptacles
Completes tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Identifies, reports, and documents if and when there is a deviation from quality, legality, or food safety standards
Understands and follows established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents
Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs
Maintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures
Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Additional Required Qualifications

Ability to work variable shifts to support business needs
Ability to become bloodborne pathogens certified
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in elevated areas with ladders, roofs, lights
Basic math skills
Attention to detail
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Ability to work in accordance with safety, quality and sanitation standards, policies, and procedures
Minimum Qualifications

High School/GED or one to two years' experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with British Retail Consortium (BRC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards
Janitorial and sanitation experience
High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent
Physical Demands & Environmental Hazards

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. in an occasional manner.
Must be able to grasp with fingers and hand for extended periods of time in a repetitive motion.
Must be able to use 3-points of contact when climbing or descending stairs.
Must be able to stoop, bend at knees, and/or crouch in a repetitive manner.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in environmental exposure including, but not limited to, freezer and noisy, cold, wet, or humid conditions of 34F or below.
Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic, and/or caustic chemicals.
Occasional material exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Hours & Workdays

1st Shift (3:00am to 11:30am); Weekends, overtime, holidays, and/or rotating shift and day off schedules may be mandatory based on business and departmental needs.
