What You'll Do
As a Floater Day Porter, you'll be On Call to cover properties throughout San Diego County as often as needed; hours will vary on the workload and coverage needs.
Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
Pick up trash and empty receptacles
Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
Always use required safety equipment (we've got you covered!)
Requirements
You might be a great fit if you are:
A strong communicator in English or Spanish both written and verbal
Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review
Enjoys providing friendly customer service
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently
Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferredbut not required!)
Physical Requirements:
On your feet throughout the shift
Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Walking up stairs and large properties regularly
