Public Area Attendant
First impressions set the tone for a guest's entire experienceand that's where you come in. As a Public Area Attendant, you'll help ensure our resort always looks its best by keeping public spaces in pristine condition. Whether vacuuming lobbies, spot-cleaning windows, tidying restrooms, or handling deep cleans, your attention to detail makes a lasting impact.
You'll work across a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces and often operate independently, making a strong work ethic and self-motivation essential. This is a physically active role that requires adaptability, quick thinking, and a high standard of guest service. Responsibilities
As a Public Area Attendant, you will:
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces throughout resort buildings
Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal
Ensure public restrooms are clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times
Provide warm and helpful interactions when engaging with guests
Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or missing items to your manager promptly
Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and special projects as assigned
Keep workspaces and cleaning equipment in good condition
Work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
Friendly demeanor and clear communication skills when interacting with guests
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 35 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift
Comfortable climbing stairs multiple times per shift
