Student Worker Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Financial Assistance Specialist.
Assisting with financial aid projects as assigned.
Assisting students with FAFSA completion.
Assist in helping students at the counter.
Assist in answering the phones.
Filing, general office help.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Experience:
Strong customer service skills required.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be detail oriented required.
Good organizational skills required.
Knowledge of computers helpful required.
Licenses and Certifications:
COD Training
Working Conditions:
Computer, multi-line phone, copy machine, typewriter.
Some lifting up to 30 lbs.
HEAVY phone and/or counter work.
Lots of standing and walking.
High pressure at times.
Hours: Variable.
This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check.
Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
