Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ (NYC Metropolitan Area)
We are hiring a Project Business Development Manager to join our team.
Main tasks will include business development including RFP search, proposal preparation, identify the partners, attend the key meetings, support the project, build up the project team, documentation, and others
To succeed in this role you should have good skills in communication, proposal writing, partnering (prime and sub contractors), and client relations.
Candidate must be flexible for the travel.
Responsibilities
Search for the RFP and identify the opportunities
Evaluating the RFP and plan for the proposal
Prepare the proposal
Attend the meeting as needed
Identify and build up business partners
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Performing requirements analysis
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders
Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Managing competing resources and priorities
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 3 years of job experience
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Nice to have the government bidding experience
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
A track record of following through on commitments
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Experience leading and developing top performing teams
A history of leading and supporting successful projects
