Janitor Team Members
The Budd Group is seeking janitorial team members for an educational facility in the McClellanville area of Charleston. Days: Monday through Friday. Hours: 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM / 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. As a janitorial floor care worker, your primary duties will be to maintain floors including tiled, carpeted, and granite.
Mixing chemicals according to package directions
Using floor care equipment such as buffers, strippers, and burnishers
Cleaning floors with said equipment and removing scuffs, buffs, and scratches
Maintain floors by daily sweeping, dust and wet mopping
Stripping and waxing during break periods
As a janitorial site supervisor, your primary duties will be to perform inspections.
Inspect rooms, hallways, and areas of the building to ensure they are cleaned per the scope
Making sure all exterior and interior doors are closed
Filling in for team members to cover their section when they are out
Providing leadership for a small group of cleaners
