Shift Schedule
Shift: 1st Shift (days)
Schedule: Monday- Thursday
Hours: 5am-3:30pm
Additional: Some weekends and every other Sunday night required
Description of Role
The Sanitation Operator is responsible for all sanitation activities in accordance with Q&FS standards, QMP procedures, and site master sanitation schedule requirements. This role ensures the effective use of chemicals, cleaning processes, and sanitation equipment.
What Are We Looking For?
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
Previous experience in a sanitation related role
Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail
Physical Requirements:
Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certifications
2+ years in a sanitation related role
What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?
Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of specific pieces of equipment, buildings, and site.
Maintain accurate records of PMs, other sanitation activities, and scrap destruction
Complete all documentation in an accurate/quality matter
Complete required safety, quality, and food safety training
Adhere to all good manufacturing practices (GMP's)
Additional duties and responsibilities throughout the plant as assigned by Supervisor
