Summer Banquet Team Members provide excellent guest service and smooth event flow during large events and catered affairs at Loveland Ski Area, such as weddings, receptions, galas and other events. Responsible for working collaboratively with other staff and departments to execute all aspects of booked events including set-up and break-down of buffet and table settings, buffet service, catered food preparation, table service and bussing/clean up, and any other event requirements. Our F&B Banquet Team covers both Front and Back of House responsibilities and team members may be assigned to perform any of these responsibilities for any given event. We strive to maintain the highest standards of presentation and guest service during Loveland events. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.
Essential Functions
Execute event set-up and breakdown to include tables and chairs, buffet lines, dcor items, linens, tableware, smallware, glassware and any other items that might be required.
As assigned for each event, will be responsible for, or will assist with, catered food preparation to include cooking, assembly and presentation, buffet food service, table beverage service and other food related assignments.
Provide exceptional guest hospitality and service to event guests, be able to effect immediate and successful guest recovery, communicate in a warm and positive manner during events. May perform other duties related to preparing for and holding events, as needed.
Responsible for front and back of house cleanliness to include kitchen equipment, floors and walls, event related dishes, tables and chairs, windows and any other items that might be required.
Maintain Loveland company and Health Department standards regulating food safety sanitation and service, alcoholic beverage service.
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience.
At least 1 year in a food service establishment; banquet/event food service experience preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments, and at high elevation.
Outdoor work may be required, i.e., table/chair set up and clean up, loading/unloading delivery trucks, etc.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate fluently in English speak and understand verbal and written communications.
Must have understanding of general health department regulations.
Maintain professional personal image and outward appearance.
Must be at least 18 years old.
