Election Field Support Staff
Pay: $30/hr Location: Frederick County, MD
Position Overview: We are hiring Election Field Support staff to assist with upcoming Board of Elections operations. In this role, you will be assigned to early voting locations or election day polling sites to help ensure everything runs smoothly.
No prior election experience is requiredtraining will be provided.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide on-site support at assigned voting locations
Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment or setup issues
Work alongside election staff, including Chief Judges and support teams
Report and document any issues that arise
Assist with ballot drop box pickups when needed
Support additional tasks as directed by election leadership
Schedule: Varies based on election needs (Early Voting & Election Day coverage)
Work Environment & Travel:
Assigned to a voting site within Frederick County
May require travel between locations within the county and occasionally within the state
Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required)
Training Requirement:
Must attend a pre-assignment meeting/training with the Election Director or designated staff before starting

Willingness to work long hours on Election Day if needed
