Cleaner/Porter
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Grand Oaks Country Club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all designated areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including entrances, patios, and walkways.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissues and soap in restrooms and other areas as needed.
Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces as required.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the General Manager.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or porter roles is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Be 18 years old or over to apply.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
