Home Health Aide
Join our team at Home Helpers In-Home Care Services as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional in-home care to our clients. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for offering compassionate support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide caring and dependable companionship to clients in their homes
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients based on dietary requirements
Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and toileting
Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed
Implement a personalized plan of care that best meets the needs of each client
Collaborate with Home Helpers associates and clients' families to create compassionate solutions for unique needs
Experience:
Prior experience in home health care or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with systems such as ICU, Urgent care, and Cerner is advantageous
Knowledge of physiology and critical care practices is beneficial
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient service principles are a plus
Experience in dementia care/parkinson's care or nursing home settings is desirable
