TPM Business Operations VP

The TPM Business Operations VP will partner closely with TPM's Global COO to help run day-to-day business operations and drive high-impact initiatives across the platform. This dynamic role sits at the center of TPM and interfaces regularly with Investment teams and key internal partners (Accounting, Operations, Reporting, Technology, Tax, Compliance, and Legal). The VP will support senior leadership deliverables, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, create new materials, and assist with the overall business strategy.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Day-to-day Global COO Support: Partner with TPM's Global COO to oversee daily operating tasks, manage business requests, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of key deliverables and initiatives.
New Client Onboarding & Portfolio Launches: Assist the Global COO with new client onboardings and portfolio launches by building workplans, tracking milestones, and ensuring operational readiness across Investments and key internal partners (Portfolio Management, Operations, Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Legal/Compliance). Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients during onboardingproviding updates, addressing questions, and coordinating responses to ad hoc requests.
Ongoing Client Operational Requests: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for client teams, working with internal partners to address client operational requests and provide timely, transparent updates back to the client team.
Strategy and Business Enhancements: Support TPM's growth by institutionalizing and modernizing the operating modelstreamlining and automating workflows, strengthening execution discipline, and enhancing collaboration across teams. Engage with Technology, Investment teams, and internal partners to prioritize enhancements, define requirements, and support implementation.
Materials & Content Creation: Partner with the Global COO to create best-in-class materials for internal stakeholders, including executive decks, business updates and other senior leadership reporting. Work with the internal client materials team to provide content for client-facing materials. Ensure content is polished and consistent, helping communicate TPM's vision, capabilities, and growth priorities.
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound professional judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, business operations, or a comparable operational/analytical role.
Working knowledge of finance, capital markets, and investment strategies used by alternative asset managers.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, capable of producing polished, accurate, leadership-ready materials.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Capable of synthesizing complex information into clear, concise outputs for senior stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Resourceful self-starter with strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
High professional integrity and strong interpersonal skills with comfort partnering across teams and with senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree required.

Expected annual base salary range:
$185,000 - $200,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.
