Licensed Master Electrician
Skillforce is currently seeking a licensed master electrician for an ongoing commercial construction project in Louisville, KY. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly skilled professional who can oversee electrical work, ensure code compliance, and lead crews effectively on a fast-paced job site.
Job Scope
Oversee and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Run conduit (EMT, rigid), pull wire, and terminate devices
Install panels, switchgear, and lighting systems
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and job site standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
Supervise and support journeyman and apprentice electricians
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
Requirements
Active master electrician license (state of Kentucky)
Strong background in commercial electrical construction
Proven leadership experience on job sites
In-depth knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
Ability to work independently and manage crews effectively
Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools
Ability to work overtime as needed
