You'll be at the center of the guest experience, ensuring every arrival, stay, and departure is seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
What You'll Do
Create Exceptional Guest Experiences
Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a memorable first impression
Manage check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and care
Ensure every guest interaction reflects Sonesta's commitment to excellence
Operate the Front Desk with Excellence
Process payments, post charges, and manage guest accounts securely
Issue room keys and safe deposit boxes
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and financial transactions
Support reservation changes, cancellations, and new bookings
Promote room upgrades and hotel services to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue
Serve as a Hotel Ambassador
Provide information about hotel amenities, dining, and local attractions
Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to fulfill guest requests
Stay informed on hotel offerings, promotions, and local events
Support overall front office operations and team success

Preferred Experience:
Previous hotel or hospitality experience (preferred)
Experience with Opera or similar property management systems (preferred)
Microsoft Office proficiency
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Schedule & Work Environment
Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
Fast-paced, guest-facing environment
