Room Attendant
Cleans and services assigned rooms on a safe and timely basis. Keeps up with cleaning standards to provide excellent guest satisfaction and continuously strives to exceed their expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, including windows, walls, floors, and fixtures.
Sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors) and restock towels, amenities, and supplies.
Make beds, replace linens, and inspect rooms, furniture, and mattresses for cleanliness.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; move furniture as needed to ensure thorough cleaning.
Stock and organize carts, closets, and storerooms to maintain efficiency.
Inspect room equipment and safety features; report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
Follow safety procedures and hotel standards at all times.
Report room status, discrepancies, and lost & found items; notify supervisor when rooms are ready.
Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor, assist team members, and respond to guest requests.
Perform additional duties as assigned and participate in training.
Minimum Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
Communicates effectively with others.
Works productively with a team and contributes to team results.
High school or equivalent education preferred.
Ability to follow safety guidelines.
Professional behavior, able to work for long periods of time.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Work is not performed in an office environment and requires evening, holiday, and weekend hours.
