Position Overview
Janitorial Technicians are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. Evening shifts focus on detailed cleaning and preparing the building for the next school day.
Responsibilities
Empty and remove heavy trash bags from classrooms and common areas
Clean and sanitize restrooms
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Wipe down desks, high-touch surfaces, and fixtures
Refill paper and soap dispensers
Follow cleaning checklists and safety procedures
Lock up and secure assigned areas as needed
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry heavy trash bags
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
Reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail
Must pass: PA State Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance (FBI fingerprinting may be required if applicable)
