Licensed HVAC Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced
HVAC Operations Manager
to lead a residential/commercial installation team for a growing client in
Western North Carolina . This is a leadership role for a hands-on professional who can manage projects, lead teams, and ensure high-quality installations from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage daily operations of the residential HVAC installation team
Schedule and coordinate installation jobs for on-time completion
Supervise, train, and mentor install technicians and crews
Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer specs, and local/state codes
Serve as the
licensed HVAC qualifier
for the company and ensure full compliance
Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks
Troubleshoot complex installation issues and provide technical guidance
Collaborate with sales and service teams for smooth project execution
Oversee inventory, equipment, and materials
Enforce safety standards and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
Active HVAC License (REQUIRED)
– must be fully licensed and able to qualify jobs
Proven experience in residential HVAC installation
Previous leadership/management experience in HVAC or construction
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation best practices
Familiarity with local codes, permits, and inspections
EPA Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience xywuqvp managing multiple crews or high install volume
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Experience with CRM/job scheduling software ( ServiceTitan highly preferred )
