A healthcare network in North Carolina is seeking two Board Certified Dermatologists to take on the roles of Regional Medical Directors.

These positions involve overseeing dermatology services across a ten-clinic region, integrating clinical dermatology with leadership duties.

The successful candidates will guide dermatology program development, mentor providers, and work on expanding access to dermatologic care within a multi-clinic system.

The key responsibilities for these roles include providing clinical leadership, establishing dermatology standards of care, and supporting primary care providers with dermatologic conditions.

The Regional Medical Directors will also diagnose and treat a range of dermatologic conditions, perform procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy, and assist with the development and expansion of dermatology services.

Collaboration with leadership to improve patient access to specialty care is also a crucial part of the job.

Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO, be Board Certified in Dermatology, and have an active North Carolina medical license or obtain one prior to starting.

Five or more years of clinical dermatology experience and prior leadership or medical director experience is preferred.

Compensation includes a salary of up to $300,000, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to expand dermatology services across a regional platform. xsgimln
