Café Clementine is an artisanal bakery and café located within the Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Centered around a fully scratch-made kitchen, the café produces everything in-house daily - from laminated pastries and naturally leavened breads to a seasonally driven brunch menu.

Pay:
$21.50 - $24.00 per hour
Job description:
Previous professional kitchen experience and proficiency in various cooking methods required. Please note we are a scratch kitchen.
Standard work week is Friday - Sunday between 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
Starting at $14.50/hr + tip pool (consistently averages $7.04 an hour)
Responsibilities include*:
Prepare ingredients and execute dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
Takes weekly inventory and ensures the culinary team is adequately stocked with quality ingredients and supplies.
Inspects finished product to ensure that established standards on quality, consistency and aesthetic appeal are met.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization
Commitment to production safety procedures.
All staff will be assisting on daily dishwashing and kitchen clean up.

High School Diploma, GED or higher education
Food Safety Manager certification preferred

Ability to lift heavy items, at least 50 lbs on a daily basis
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Stamina: ability to stand for 10 hours at a time
