Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (34.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate:
$55 – $58/hr
Weekly Gross:
~$2,456 (including $1,744 stipend)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Ultrasound Technologist
to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and support radiologists in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience in specialized ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with ultrasound examinations following established protocols
Prepare and position patients for procedures
Operate, maintain, and adjust ultrasound equipment safely
Capture and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations
Assist radiologists with diagnostic procedures
Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure availability of supplies
Support scheduling, communication, and patient coordination
Mentor and assist in training new staff as needed
Required Qualifications
Registered with
ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
Minimum
2 years of experience
as an Ultrasound Technologist
Experience with VU Ultrasound System (Required)
Prostate sonography (TRUS) experience required
BLS Certification
Associate’s Degree or higher
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
