Pay : $65-$72 /hr
Contract : 8-week assignment
Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
A.R.R.T. MRI registry.
BCLS Certified.
Two (2) years' experience in MRI.
IV Certified
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong background in cross sectional anatomy, physical sciences and M.R. physics.
-Requires excellent technical skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Two (2) years' experience in MRI.
Duties :
Performs MRI imaging procedures
Positions patients and coils for optimal imaging
Provides patient education on procedures
Reviews patient safety questionnaires before scans
Ensures proper image labeling and quality
Transmits images to PACS and updates IDX system
Maintains cleanliness of MRI room and equipment
Manages supplies and patient documentation
Schedules and tracks exams in IDX
Reports equipment issues or unsafe conditions
Assists physicians and handles patient calls
Performs clerical duties when needed
Follows safety and infection control protocols
Attends trainings and maintains licensure
Performs other assigned duties
