
Vice President of Revenue Management

A modern hospitality management company is seeking a new Vice President of Revenue Management to provide strategic direction for maximizing revenue and profitability across a portfolio of focused service properties. This role emphasizes driving top-line revenue and commercial activities and involves developing and implementing comprehensive revenue strategies. The Vice President will integrate revenue management with sales, distribution, and digital channels to maximize revenue streams, including rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary services. Setting and maintaining performance targets such as RevPAR index growth and market penetration while ensuring teams are accountable for measurable results is essential. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and developing the revenue management function and ensuring consistent processes and standards across properties. The role requires conducting ongoing performance reviews and audits to identify opportunities for corrective actions and enhance commercial effectiveness. Collaboration with Sales and Operations leadership is crucial to ensure cohesive execution of commercial strategies and effective responses to demand trends. An important aspect of the job is monitoring competitor activity, industry trends, and distribution shifts to make proactive adjustments in strategies, maintaining a market advantage. Building strong relationships with property leaders and brand partners to support commercial alignment and championing innovation through new technologies are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. At least 10 years of multi-unit revenue management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The position requires proven experience in strategic planning, commercial strategy development, and successful large-scale implementation within enterprise-level or multi-property environments. A strong command of revenue management principles, excellent interpersonal skills, data analysis proficiency, and a leadership style that fosters collaboration are essential. The candidate must ensure adherence to revenue management policies, standards, and ethical practices compliant with industry and regulatory requirements.
