Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Facilities Manager

At Teledyne Relays, you play a critical role in protecting people, operations, and the environment—while enabling innovation in ultra‑miniature, hermetically sealed switching solutions used around the world. In this role,
you are a trusted advisor and hands-on leader, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing operations while shaping a proactive safety culture where employees are empowered to act and improve.
What you’ll do
Lead and continuously improve Environmental, Health, Safety, and Management Systems to meet federal, state, and local regulations
Own California Injury and Illness Prevention Program development, audits, and updates
Manage hazardous waste, air, stormwater, and wastewater compliance programs and inspections
Maintain and renew more than 20 environmental and safety permits, licenses, and postings
Prepare and submit regulatory reports to environmental, safety, and local agencies
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
Deliver safety and ergonomics training and verify employee competency
Oversee facilities, utilities, and maintenance programs including clean rooms, HVAC, compressed air, cryogenics, and building systems
Drive preventive maintenance planning to reduce downtime and support production
What you need
7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment –
required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar –
required
Strong working knowledge of environmental and safety compliance programs –
required
Ability to communicate and partner effectively with leadership and frontline teams –
required
Experience with hazardous waste and regulatory reporting –
required
Familiarity with laser safety standards (ANSI Z136.1) –
preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools –
required
