Overview:
Mid-sized precision manufacturing company is hiring an
Engineering Manager
to lead a team of 8 while staying hands-on in mechanical design. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to ownership.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers/designers (mechanical, project, CAD)
Design and oversee custom machinery (broaching, gear cutting, tooling)
Partner closely with the shop floor—troubleshoot, improve processes, and drive efficiency
Review technical drawings (GD&T) and support customer-facing engineering discussions
Collaborate across production, sales, and project teams
What They’re Looking For:
5–12+ years in
mechanical engineering within manufacturing
Strong
SolidWorks + CAD design
experience
Hands-on knowledge of
machining/CNC/tooling environments
Proven
leadership + team management
experience
Ability to balance
strategy + execution
Comp & Perks:
$120K–$140K base + discretionary bonus
