Role Description
We are seeking an experienced
Field Installation Supervisor
to lead HVAC and refrigeration installation crews. This role requires strong leadership, project management experience, and solid mechanical knowledge to ensure safe, high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and mentor Refrigeration and HVAC installation team
Assign daily tasks and manage schedules to meet project timelines
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality, code, and safety compliance
Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex installations
Enforce OSHA safety standards and PPE usage
Coordinate materials, equipment, and job-site logistics
Communicate with customers, technicians, and management
Review technician timecards and job documentation
Required Qualifications
5+ years
of onsite project management, working with and supervising people
5+ years
of Refrigeration and HVAC installation/service experience. Including building boxes, setting equipment and start-up
Valid driver’s license with
clean driving record
EPA Universal Certification
(required)
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Refrigeration, ice machines and HVAC systems, including controls, codes, electrical, and ductwork
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Lift/move
50+ lbs
Work in confined spaces and varying temperatures
Climb ladders and go on roofs.
Be able to travel into the tri-state area on occasion.
Preferred Skills
Blueprint and technical manual interpretation
HVAC/refrigeration installation experience
