Databricks Architect (Santa Clara)

GyanSys is looking for a Databricks Architect for its direct client based in Santa Clara, CA
Primary Focus:
Architecture, design authority, and client alignment
Responsibilities:
Own end‑to‑end Databricks solution architecture (Lakehouse, Delta, Unity Catalog, security, networking).
Translate business and data requirements into scalable technical designs.
Define data ingestion patterns, medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and performance best practices.
Guide architectural decisions across ETL/ELT, streaming, ML, and analytics workloads.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards.
Act as the technical SPOC for stakeholders and Databricks platform teams.
Review and approve code, design documents, and deployment strategies.
Mentor Lead and Senior consultants on architectural standards.
Bachelors degree required
