ForceBrands is partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed wellness company to identify a
Senior Manager of R&D
to lead innovation within their rapidly expanding gummy product portfolio.
This brand has quickly gained traction in the functional supplement space, with a breakout gummy launch fueling significant growth. As they continue to scale, they are investing in best-in-class product development and looking for a hands-on R&D leader to help shape what’s next.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead end-to-end development of functional gummy products from concept through commercialization
• Formulate, test, and optimize products with a focus on taste, texture, and efficacy
• Drive rapid iteration cycles in a hands-on lab environment
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations and external manufacturers to scale formulations
• Collaborate with flavorhouses and external R&D partners to advance innovation
• Stay ahead of ingredient trends and emerging technologies in the functional wellness space
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards are met
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in food science or product development
• Must have hands-on experience developing
functional gummies with active ingredients
• Proven ability to take products from concept through commercialization
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for experimentation and innovation
• Experience working with external partners (CMOs, flavorhouses, CROs)
