Job Description:
We are looking for an
Interior Design Engineer
with strong
CATIA experience
to support the development of automotive interior components. The role will primarily focus on 3D modeling, design support, and engineering changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify
3D models and 2D drawings
using
CATIA
Support design and development of
interior components
(trim, panels, console, etc.)
Assist in engineering changes, design updates, and documentation
Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams
Ensure designs meet basic manufacturing and quality requirements
Support prototype and production-related activities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in
CATIA
Basic understanding of
automotive interior components
Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T fundamentals
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Any exposure to
automotive interior design
Experience with OEMs or suppliers (nice to have, not mandatory)
Note:
Strong
CATIA skills are the primary requirement
Interior experience can be basic or project-level exposure
