Title: Substation Project Manager
Duration: Contract to hire
Location: San Ramon, CA & Sacramento, CA
Responsibilities:
Lead high-voltage substation and transmission line projects end-to-end
Manage planning, execution, budgets, schedules, and project closeout
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and project performance
Handle forecasting, change management, and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in utility projects (substation, transmission, or power delivery)
Strong experience managing projects across the full lifecycle
Solid knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and project controls
Experience with subcontractor/vendor management
Tools: MS Office (SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI preferred)
PMP certification preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
