
Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (Sterling Heights)

Duration: 6-month contract + extensions/direct hire
Required Skills & Experience:
-3–5+ years of experience in: Manufacturing supervision Facilities, utilities, or plant infrastructure operations
-Experience leading hourly/union workforce in an automotive or industrial setting
-Strong understanding of: Industrial electrical systems HVAC and building systems
- Preventive maintenance practices
-Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental, and safety compliance
Job Description:
Supervise and coordinate facilities operations including:
Building systems (HVAC, compressed air, steam, water, chilled water) Electrical distribution (low and medium voltage)
Plant utilities, lighting, roofing, and structural systems
Ensure continuous availability and reliability of plant infrastructure to support production schedules
Monitor facility performance metrics and respond to downtime, alarms, or system failures Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities assets
Partner with maintenance, controls, and reliability teams to improve asset uptime
Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and equipment installations
Track work orders, backlog, and maintenance KPIs using Ford CMMS systems
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
