
Head of Product and Project Management (Dallas)

ACORE Capital is looking for a Head of Product and Project Management to lead a team of Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers, and manage a diverse portfolio of internal technical projects. These projects encompass various aspects, including the implementation of new software tools, introduction of new process workflows within IT systems, supervision of hardware upgrades, and the development of updates to existing tools. The Head of Product and Project Management collaborates closely with business leaders, project stakeholders, external consultants, internal security & compliance teams, and the ACORE Software Development team. This role can be headquartered from any of our offices including San Francsico, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas or New York. This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
Manage Project Managers to oversee a portfolio of technology projects, ensuring ACORE’s project management process is followed.
Manage Product Owners to maintain and support existing technology systems, both off-the-shelf and custom. This includes documenting systems, maintaining training materials, acting as first line of support for applications, and assisting with security audits and disaster recovery planning.
Work with internal prioritization council to prioritize new project requests and maintain a 12-month project roadmap.
Prepare and deliver status updates to leadership and project stakeholders.
Maintain strong communication with business leaders, project sponsors, and project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns promptly.
Act as Project Manager on critical projects.
Utilize Jira to track and maintain work assignments for the technology teams.
Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks and challenges to keep projects on track and within timeline and budget delivery.
Mentor team members, provide informal and formal performance reviews, recommend compensation, and conduct interviews.

Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Information technology, or a related field.
7+ years of related experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, and Excel.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple operational tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Previous experience in commercial real estate, mortgage lending or commercial banking preferred.
PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, Salesforce, and Snowflake a plus.
