
Credit Analyst (Liberty Hill)

Credit Analyst - Liberty Hill / Austin area
This full-time position will focus primarily on providing all loan officer staff with appropriate administrative and detailed financial analysis support required to provide sound loan package presentations while maintaining compliance within Loan Policy guidelines.
Conversion of customer financial statements into standard spreadsheet form, conducting analyses and providing the loan officer with feedback are also critical elements to this position. In addition, this position will be responsible for reviewing major credits for quality, documentation and capacity and grading such credits within Loan Policy/Loan Review guidelines.
The qualified individual should possess a basic knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing, as well as a basic knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and other bank lending policies. Excellent organizational and time management skills essential for this position. Computer proficiencies should include Word and Excel, as well the ability to utilize the internet efficiently for necessary research.
The preferred candidate will possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as analytical abilities. The qualified candidate should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with preferred area of study in accounting, finance, and/or business, with at least twelve hours of accounting courses; as well as at least two years of related experience. The preferred candidate will possess more than two years of experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
