Industrial Engineer (Appleton)

Job Description:
 Conduct detailed time studies and work measurement for assembly, subassembly, and fabrication operations.
 Establish labor standards to support:
o Labor planning and staffing models
o Capacity analysis and line balancing
o Quoting and cost estimation
 Analyze takt time vs. actual cycle times to support production scheduling.
 Balance work content across stations to improve throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
 Support strategic manufacturing excellence initiatives under Oshkosh / Pierce standards.
 Support automation of some of the existing processes.
 Define requirements for assembly fixtures, custom tools, and lift aids.
 Design and improve plant layouts considering ergonomics, safety, and material flow.
 Develop standard work instructions, routing logic, and assembly sequences aligned to
configurations.
