Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related
5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (ideally in a manufacturing environment)
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (Excel used heavily for planning & analysis)
Day-to-Day:
A client of Insight Global’s is seeking a Buyer / Senior Buyer to join their team onsite in Georgia, where you will be responsible for purchasing MRO items, components, and services to support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations at the site level. In this role, you’ll work closely with production, maintenance, and operations teams to understand material needs, place and manage purchase orders, reconcile invoices and receipts, monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, and maintain accurate supplier and pricing records. You’ll also help evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements while ensuring materials are available on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
