
Legal Compliance Manager (Charlotte)

We are looking for a Director of Legal Compliance to lead the design and oversight of a strong compliance and risk management framework for our organization in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on corporate governance, contracts and compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of contracts, risk assessment, legal compliance standards, along with the ability to partner effectively across business functions.
Responsibilities:
Contract review and management
Lease review and management
Registered agent management
Support with corporate governance –maintaining corporate documents
Support for compliance portal maintenance
License management and support
Surety bond oversight
Assistance with Bid Committee
Help with M&A work
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in compliance, regulatory oversight, and enterprise risk assessment.
Proven ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements and apply them within business operations.
Experience building or managing compliance frameworks, policies, and internal control environments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to identify risk trends, prioritize issues, and recommend effective corrective actions.
Self-starter, independent, multi-tasker, hard worker
