Title: Senior Hydropower Engineer
Duration: FTE
Location: Lexington, SC or Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
Lead hydropower projects across design, planning, and construction
Oversee engineering for dams, spillways, penstocks, and powerhouse systems
Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure project delivery (scope, schedule, quality)
Provide technical leadership and support client relationships
Mentor junior staff and support business development initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering + PE license
15+ years of hydropower engineering experience
Strong expertise in design and project management of hydropower facilities
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
Knowledge of regulations, permitting, and construction coordination
Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and open to travel
