Wholesale Lending is part of COO Operations, and is made up of Syndicated Lending, Portfolio Management and Corporate Lending, covering Credit Analysis, Financial Monitoring & Control, Primary & Secondary Loan Settlement, Lending Fulfilment, and post drawdown management & Collateral.

Overall purpose of role
The role holder will work with the business stakeholders, operations users, controls team, technology teams, UAT test manager and all other stakeholders to plan, manage & execute the system/process/TOM changes into the Process and Procedure documentation for Wholesale Lending Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Accountabilities
The role holder will follow agreed design principles to establish Target Operating Model processes, focusing on objectives to Simplify, Standardise and Automate and drive out recommendations around Process, System and Organisational structure.
The role holder will liaise with all stakeholders including tech/ops partners and drive the documentation of procedures & process flows.
The role holder will ensure all target processes are defined with a view to ensure robust controls are in place and ensure engagement with Controls and Rigour teams.
The role holder will ensure that the Process mapping and Procedures have relevant inputs to deliver required documentation.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership
The role holder will work with various stakeholders and tech partners to plan and deliver any Process & Procedure documentation required that has been scoped and prioritised
The role holder will ensure ownership and accountability of all work items and will be responsible for reporting status and planning
The role holder will maintain awareness of business process change throughout the project execution phase.
The role holder will provide regular updates to enable the tracking & reporting progress on/understanding the impact of systems & automation changes, testing requirements on those processes/procedures and areas of the business affected by that change, e.g. agreeing with Business Owners any additional training or workarounds identified during testing.

Decision-making and Problem Solving
Prepare with full engagement of stakeholders appropriate documentation to inform of Target Operating Model and requirements definition to create clear process mapping, procedures documentation.
Understand the impact of planned initiatives, deployment schedules & time lines on those processes and the business areas that use them – ensure all business scenarios are then integrated into all process, procedures securing Business, Controls & stakeholder Go/No Go sign off.
Ensure that the business understands the impact of the change and feel comfortable adopting the updates.

Risk and Control Objective
Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you do

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of process mapping/procedure documentation in line with rolling out strategic and tactical change across a large organization, understanding of testing framework delivery have a good knowledge of Corporate and IB loan products and their attributes and should be familiar with key IT/ systems.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Proficient with Loan IQ
Experience in procedure documentation
Business Analysis and strategic Target Operating Model experience
Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
Knowledge of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures
Experience of tools for documentation including JIRA, Confluence and Blueworks
Excellent communication at all levels, including but not limited to verbal and written

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ACBS
Lending /Servicing knowledge across all debt products
Experience of using Agile project management would be preferred
Knowledge & experience working within Transformation & Change team.
