Position Overview
We are seeking a
Test & Evaluation Engineer II
to support the development, execution, and analysis of engineering test programs. In this role, you will contribute to designing test procedures, validating system performance, and ensuring high-quality data delivery. You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to help drive reliable and efficient testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and document engineering designs, solutions, and test methodologies
Create and execute test plans, procedures, and configurations
Design component and sub-assembly level hardware/software for testing
Support manufacturing and assembly of test hardware
Conduct technical design reviews and present findings to stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally to align with program and project objectives
Analyze test performance data and ensure accuracy, quality, and fidelity
Identify and escalate off-nominal test results to senior engineers
Prepare detailed test reports and debrief materials
Apply lessons learned to continuously improve test processes
Support the development and approval of estimates and proposals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in electrical design
Experience with drafting and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, Zuken)
Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and data acquisition systems
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI)
Experience with wire design and installation
Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data
Familiarity with PLCs and closed-loop control systems
Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems
Systems engineering experience
Experience with LabVIEW and NI hardware
