About This Position:
The Director, Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading and scaling Renovation Brands’ end-to-end fulfillment and warehouse operations in a multi-brand, shared-services environment similar to a sophisticated 3PL model.
This role will directly and primarily oversee the consolidated fulfillment sites operating in the region while establishing a flagship operating model that can be replicated across all brands and locations within the portfolio.
You’ll lead the responsible adoption of AI and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, labor planning, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency across the fulfillment network.
This leader owns fulfillment execution, warehouse strategy, inbound receiving, stocking brands, freight management, and operational excellence across the portfolio.
The role expands beyond site-level execution to include enterprise process ownership, technology enablement, and financial accountability for fulfillment operations.

Base Salary Range:
$135,000 - $150,000 (experience & interview performance will determine actual number within the range).
Annual Discretionary Bonus:
eligible for 20% of base salary.
What You’ll Do:
Enterprise Fulfillment & Warehouse Leadership
Lead a multi-brand fulfillment operation structured similarly to a shared-services or 3PL environment, supporting diverse product types, service levels, and brand requirements.
Establish and maintain standardized fulfillment, warehouse, and inbound receiving processes across brands while balancing brand-specific needs.
Define and own network-wide KPIs covering productivity, cost, service, inventory accuracy, and damage rates.
Provide functional leadership and governance for fulfillment and warehouse operations across all brands.
Serve as the senior escalation point for capacity constraints, service failures, and operational risk.
Alabama Site Leadership (Direct Responsibility)
Directly lead all Alabama-based warehouse and fulfillment operations as a consolidated multi-brand distribution hub.
Own day-to-day execution across receiving, put-away, slotting, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, returns, and rework.
Ensure operational staffing, productivity standards, space utilization, and equipment utilization meet service and financial targets.
Build a strong leadership bench within the Alabama sites, including managers, supervisors, and team leads.
Freight & Transportation Management
Own outbound and inbound freight execution primarily in the owned/operated fulfillment sites, with functional insight across all brands, including parcel, LTL, FTL, drayage, and specialized carriers.
Partner with the VP of Supply Chain on carrier strategy, RFPs, rate structures, freight partners, and contract compliance.
Drive freight cost control, variance analysis, and continuous improvement in cost-to-serve.
Reduce freight-related damage through improved packaging standards, carrier selection, and handling processes.
Inventory Accuracy & Controls
Provide oversight of stocking brands, inbound receiving, put-away, slotting, and inventory flow across the fulfillment network.
Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through standardized cycle counting, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution.
Establish inventory handling, storage design, and slotting standards to support efficiency and minimize damage.
Own root cause analysis and corrective actions related to inventory variances.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Identify, evaluate, and implement technology systems and operational tools to improve productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and damage reduction.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, standard work, and data-driven analysis.
Drive adoption and optimization of WMS, TMS, ERP, labor management, and reporting systems.
Evaluate automation, material handling equipment, layout changes, and process redesign to support scalable growth.
Financial & Safety Accountability
Own financial responsibility for fulfillment and warehouse operations, including labor, freight, supplies, and operating expenses.
Manage operating budgets and perform regular variance analysis with clear corrective action plans.
Partner with Finance and VP Supply Chain to forecast costs, support annual planning, and justify capital investments.
Establish and maintain a strong safety culture with a goal of zero incidents.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, regulatory requirements, and internal safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations, ideally within a multi-brand or 3PL-style environment.
Proven experience operating shared fulfillment services supporting multiple product categories and service models.
Demonstrated success leading inbound receiving, stocking operations, outbound fulfillment, and freight management at-scale.
Comfortable leveraging AI tools and data-driven technologies to enhance operational decision-making and drive measurable performance gains.
Sound operational finance experience with full ownership of operating budgets and cost variances.
Track record of implementing systems, technology, and process improvements that drive measurable productivity, accuracy, and damage reduction.
Experience with ERP and warehouse systems. (NetSuite experience strongly preferred.)
Hands-on leader capable of operating strategically and tactically.
